ORSI immediately puts into effect the strategy to finalize the media purchase as well as begin the process of developing the media kit including developing a study specific patient pre-screening questionnaire for the study recruitment staff. Our call centers are also notified to plan for the patient recruitment campaign accordingly. Once the media and community resources for patient recruitment are decided, ORSI immediately puts into effect the strategy to finalize the media purchase as well as begin the process of developing the media kit including developing a study specific patient pre-screening questionnaire for the study recruitment staff. Our call center is also notified to plan for the patient recruitment campaign accordingly. The entire media kit as well as the patient pre-screening questionnaire is sent to the Sponsor/IRB for approval before being sent to the investigator sites, media and community outlets and our call center.


Once the patient recruitment campaign begins, our call center communicates directly with the Sponsor/CRO or the investigator site with patient schedules on a day to day basis until the end of the campaign or until patient enrollment is completed. Media Kit

Orion Research Solutions, Int’L., (ORSI) develops a highly creative media kit to support its patient recruitment and retention strategies to successfully generate the most effective and rapid patient enrollment possible. The media kit and the patient pre-screening questionnaire are developed based on the centralized or site based patient recruitment strategy designed for a given clinical trial.

ORSI's creative team of physicians, marketing specialists and graphic designers bring the concepts to design and develop actual products to be used for patient recruitment using the latest available state of the art technologies. Depending on the media outlet chosen, the media kit is developed for television, radio, internet and the print medium. CD/DVD presentations are also developed for physician clinics. The entire media kit as well as the patient pre-screening questionnaire are sent to the Sponsor/IRB for approval before being sent to the investigator sites, media and community outlets and our call center. Pre-Screening and Scheduling

Orion Research Solutions Int’l, Inc., (ORSI), call center staff including management has completed thorough training to meet or exceed the highest standards of patient recruitment in the research industry. High quality care is provided by continuously screening and monitoring inbound and outbound calls. Our call center staff is highly qualified and thoroughly trained in the inclusion-exclusion criteria to meet or exceed the highest standards in the health industry. Highly secured internet is utilized to communicate with the sponsor/CRO or the site. Study specific and Sponsor/IRB approved phone pre-screening questionnaires developed by ORSI are used by our call center for the campaign to successfully pre-screen and schedule patients. Each scheduled patient receives a courtesy reminder call prior to their appointment and no-show patients receive follow-up calls.

The completed phone pre-screening questionnaires for scheduled patients are sent to the respective investigator sites and a copy is also sent to the sponsor. The pre-screened questionnaires for excluded patients are sent to the sponsor/site for their record. The phone pre-screening questionnaire also reflects the date and time of appointment. Our call center makes a courtesy call to all No-Show patients for rescheduling. Activity reports are sent to the sponsor on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as required basis until completion of the campaign. At the end of the campaign, a final closing report is also sent to the sponsor.
